ABOUT OUR CENTER
Main Street Art Center opened in 2008.
We moved to our present location in February 2022. The move allowed the Center to have a larger, accessible, and newly renovated space.
The Mission of the Center is to provide art experiences for students and adults, enabling them to develop new skills in traditional art forms while establishing new relationships. Throughout the years, the mission of the Art Center has not changed, although the Center has evolved and the participating artists have changed.
Local artists are provided a venue to display and sell their artwork in the Center’s Gift Shop. And we offer classes in weaving and fibers, pottery, drawing and painting, stained glass, mosaics, and knitting. These classes are offered weekly and are on a, “come as you can,” basis, where participants pay a fee for the class and a small supply charge.
Evening workshops are offered periodically and include wire weaving, Paint ‘n Sips, macrame, wreath making, glass painting, seasonal items, and much more!
Since 2020, the Center has offered summer camps for children, ages 6-15, providing you artists experiences in a variety of media.
Thank you for supporting the arts in our community!
